DAX30 is the Germany’s most important stock market index, trading on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. It includes shares of 30 companies. The index components are German companies well-known around the world: Siemens, BMW, Lufthansa, Adidas, Volkswagen Group and others.
The index has been calculated since 1988. It is one of the most important stock market indicators in Europe, as the German economy is one of the biggest on the continent.
The index is operated by Deutsche Börse AG.
Inclusion criteria for DAX30: presence on the German market, large market capitalization, stocks must be traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
