Today, together with the entire Thailand, we pay our tribute to the memory of the preceding King of Thailand, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The ninth king of his dynasty and the father of the current monarch of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej reigned for 70 years and was posthumously proclaimed King Rama IX and Father of the Nation.
The day of his passing, October 13, 2016, has since become a day of remembrance for the entire nation. The significance of this day for Thai people in all parts of the world cannot be overestimated.
