"This round was won by a robot" – interview with the winner of Drag Trade contest

Tell us how you became a trader. How did it all start?

Well one day I was at my friend’s place and he was trading in MT4. He told me that on Forex you can earn more than $100 in mere seconds. I didn’t believe him. He then said that I can check it myself on a demo account with virtual money. 5 years have passed since I did it and I never regret this decision. Now Forex trading is a great source of extra income for me – my main source is my business. In the future I want to become a big professional trader.

Is Forex trading popular in Pakistan? 

Yes, I would say it is really popular over here. If you live in Pakistan, you can be confident that there is at least one person around you who is more or less acquainted with Forex. That is why it is easy to find a friend or a colleague at work to discuss a new trading strategy and consult a trader more experienced than yourself.

Do you often participate in contests for traders?

Yes, I participate in Forex trading contests quite often. But I especially like Drag Trade because it is one of the very few contests that last for just 1 hour.

Let’s talk a bit about your trading. You opened 9 Sell orders for GBPJPY pair with completely different volume sees like it was algorithmic trading. Did you use a robot?

Yes – this round was won by a robot specifically developed for short term contests. One of my friends develops expert advisors. I once told him about the contest, the task seemed quite interesting for him and he made a robot for me that would suit short contests. GBPJPY pair I chose by myself – I like it cause of the good spread.

What is the most important in a Forex Broker and why did you choose Grand Capital?
